So, a little under a year ago, I had this idea of giving something back, but I wanted to give something back that would help someone else build upon their future. From this came the idea of helping new business startups, but that quickly expanded into getting other businesses I knew to help as well. The next problem was getting a delivery method and also someone to help get the scheme under way. With the help of Blue Orchid (who have supported me with available funding in the past) I was put in-touch with the EDR (North Worcestershire Economic Development and Regeneration) scheme run by Wyre Forest District council and they jumped at it. The wheels were in motion and the people joining quickly grew.
The project is now launched and if you are thinking of starting a new business or have been running for no more than 12 months then you can enter by filling in the form here. Everything that is available is offered for FREE – this is about helping people develop for the future.
More information can also be found on the Wyre Forest Council website here.
